Michigan State Family Photos!!! This session is one I will hold near and dear to my own heart. This is my Aunt and her beautiful family. Since I was a young girl, I looked up to my Aunt. Her vibrant personality, quirky sense of humor and overall lust for life was always an inspiration. She would babysit my sister and I when we were young. I would go to her in my teen years for advice. I would photograph her oldest for photo projects in college… and as the years go on and on, I would continue to receive her unconditional love and support through all my personal and professional endeavors. I can always remember feeling comfort and warmth in her presence and aspiring to be like her, in her ability to LAUGH, even during the difficult moments of life.
So to photograph her family, now that my cousins have grown and are preparing to venture off on their own paths in life, is truly an honor! She has been through so much in caring for own children… caring for my grandfather when he was sick… caring for my grandmother when she was sick… and now focusing on caring for HERSELF and ensuring her own health and vitality. She is glowing and again, always providing inspiration to those around her.
