Beautiful Batavia IL High School Senior Portraits! I had the honor of photographing this young lady’s older sister a few years back. Both sisters are absolutely GORGEOUS! They have that very down to earth and natural beauty which makes my job behind the camera so darn easy!!!
She was a bit nervous. She wanted a secluded location where she wasn’t going to feel put on the spot. One of my favorite places in Batavia was the perfect place! We took a quiet stroll around tree lined paths and captured a variety of natural and candid portraits.
What do I mean when I say natural and candid? Well, anyone can say “smile!” But often times, that doesn’t quite elicit the expression I am going for. I want to see a genuine laugh, smile or look of contemplation. Usually that means having a conversation and getting to know each other! Which makes being a photographer that much MORE fun.
