Gold and Red Fall Family Portraits with this BEAUTIFUL crew! I had been eyeing this forest preserve in Sugar Grove for a few years now. Some of the families I photograph live in Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, etc. and so I was worried it might be too far of a drive for some. But the colors are SIMPLY AMAZING in Fall. I am so happy that they were willing to make the trip!
And this family, well they are near and dear to my heart. I’ve been photographing their oldest since he was a baby, wearing Mickey Mouse ears! I have been SO BLESSED to see them, year after year. They are always a blast to photograph!
And I just LOVE how their shades of red photographed with the golden and copper leaves! They have the brightest smiles and the greatest ideas, so I really take the lead on portraits taken from them. I’m all about giving gentle direction and encouraging families to just be themselves.
