Welcome Home Baby! Oh my goodness, this newborn, family portrait session was just picture perfect. I have to be honest in saying, I don’t think I’ve ever had a session go this smoothly with a baby! I think we captured all these amazing moments in less than an hour. He was awake, he took a nap, he received a lot of love and cuddles… and there was very minimal fussing. Though even when a feeding or diaper change break is needed, there’s something just so PEACEFUL about newborn sessions. They are intimate and cozy, in the comfort of your own home. Mom told me she’d like some photos in the living room, the baby’s room and on the bed in their room. I asked if we could do a few in front of the piano too. And a newborn session wouldn’t be complete without a few highlights of BIG SISTER. Because this is a very special time for her too, sharing the love from mom and dad with this new little being and discovering her own love and adoration for baby.
