Illinois Countryside Wedding 2021 with this BEAUTIFUL couple! I absolutely LOVE country, rustic, vintage, barn, farm, and backyard weddings. I have been SO BLESSED to have documented many this year! With Covid making the planning of weddings in big venues difficult, many have decided to plan weddings right in their own backyard. I will say, it takes a great deal of vision and a bit of a DIY attitude. Without the help of a venue for details and decorations, it rests on the shoulders of the bride, groom, family and friends. And this couple really did plan it all out, to the very last detail. It was perfect. This backyard wedding was down to earth and comfortable yet elegant and full of vintage charm!
I could really feel the love and warmth of family. Having everyone together for this celebration was very important and special to this couple. She got ready in her mother’s old farmhouse. She took a ride down her brother’s long drive in a horse drawn carriage. Her handsome son walked her through the beautiful, tree lined path to her eager groom.
