One Year Cake Smash

One Year Cake Smash session with She Sees Photography in Carol Stream, IL!  I had such a great time capturing these fun and colorful images of this handsome little guy in celebration of his 1st Birthday.  Mom put a lot of thought and effort into coordinating cake, balloons and a super cute little outfit.  Sentimental and handmade gifts in his own bedroom made for the perfect little props.  Not every one year old will dive in to a cake during a cake smash session… some are even afraid!  But it’s the coolest thing ever to document each child’s unique reactions to having a cake set right in front of them.  This little guy looked like an artist as he scraped the blue frosting off and smeared it on his hands and feet with such delicate precision <3
