Waterman IL Family Farm Wedding with this BEAUTIFUL and FUN couple! When this Michigan bride (Michigan is where I grew up) contacted me about photographing her wedding in Waterman, IL (the town next to me) on their family farm that would soon be sold… my heart was already in it. And though it was one of the hottest days of the year, it was one of the most sentimental and emotional weddings I photographed in 2021. The laughter, tears and JOY flowed throughout the day like poetry. The soft, grey clouds rolled in just as the ceremony began to give a bit of relief from the August sun. A gentle sprinkle fell to cool the wedding party and family during post ceremony portraits. Then the clouds broke way for a rainbow, just over the cornfield… letting the bride and groom know that someone special was up in Heaven watching over their special day.
