Illinois Farm Engagement Portraits with this GORGEOUS COUPLE! OH MY GOODNESS, if you’re not already in love with farms, barns, rolling fields, tractors and all things rustic then this engagement session is sure to inspire you. Seriously, we didn’t have to travel far to find a beautiful variety of textures and backdrops. It was a photographer’s DREAM! Well, perhaps my dream. I really admire and appreciate the beauty in farms and farmland. And obviously, these two do as well! They were right at home, literally.
I grew up in a small town in Michigan. Both of my grandparents had farmland. I’m quite comfortable and familiar with old, weathered and rustic. I love the beauty in such things! So when this lovely couple contacted me and asked if I was willing to travel to their own farmland for their engagement session, I was quite thrilled.
We were blessed with bright blue skies and warm sunshine on the day of their March 1st, 2020 session. We even attempted to venture down into a nearby timber, but the muddy road was rather stubborn. We actually got stuck! It was quite an adventure. We walked back to the main road, grabbing some amazing photos along the way!
