St James Farm Wedding in Wheaton, Illinois with this GORGEOUS couple! These two were an absolute dream to work with from the very beginning. Even though they were planning their wedding during a pandemic and it was looking like rain on their wedding day, they were super sweet, laid back and kind! I’m sure they were nervous behind the scenes, but you’d never know. Luckily, the rain held off until the evening. Even then, it was just a light sprinkle!
This was a very special, intimate wedding celebration with limited guests. We met at the forest preserve and farm before their outdoor ceremony to capture photos of just the two of them, bride and groom. We were not rushed. We took our time enjoying the grounds. They were full of JOY and LOVE for one another, which made my job super easy! It was SO MUCH FUN. Seriously, I felt spoiled to have that much time with them.
Immediate family worked their way in and got situated under the row of trees near the beautiful arbor, handmade by the groom. Candles lit the path as the bride and her father worked their way down. It was simply beautiful. While they exchanged their vows, I could hear the chirping of birds and song of crickets. It really was like a dream!
THANK YOU TWO for blessing me with the opportunity to photograph your wedding day! I really enjoyed meeting you two and documenting these memories.
